Clear Sky Counselling and Support Services is owned and operated by Matt Martin, with a clear vision for supporting people living in Clermont, Dysart, Moranbah and surrounding areas. Matt is passionate about rural people accessing the same level of service as their city counterparts.

 

This is particularly important in the area of mental health where personalised, face to face, one-on-one counselling is seldom offered in rural towns. Matt is eager fill this gap and work with people to live fulfilling lives.

Clear Sky Counselling and Support Services has two areas of focus; 

1.  To provide face-to-face counselling for adults, adolescents and children 

2. Work with NDIS participants to achieve their desired goals in the communities in which they live.

Matt brings a welcoming, compassionate and non-judgmental approach to counselling in the hope that clients feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts and feelings about situations or challenges that they may be facing. 

 

Matt is a registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association. He completed a Masters of Education, Guidance and Counselling at the Queensland University of Technology, and has worked as a counsellor in Clermont and surrounds since 2015. 

 

Matt has completed training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) for Depression and Anxiety through the world renowned Beck Institute in America and is passionate about collaborating with clients to work through situations and perceptions that are interfering with their values, goals and aspirations.
